1968 FENDER BASSMAN SILVERFACE 50W HEAD WITH MATCHING 2 X 10 SPEAKER CABINET.
A first year Silverface 50w. Bassman head. A pair of 6L6 power tubes, GZ34 rectifier, plus 3 7025's and 12AT7 in the preamp stage. This one has had the bass channel modified to a great sounding preamp tube based footswitchable overdrive stage for the guitar channel. The mod uses the existing knobs and jack sockets on faceplate, so easily returned to original spec without cosmetic issues. Paired with a custom built opened backed plywood cabinet in matching Fender tolex and grille cloth loaded with a pair of Eminence 10" AINiCo speakers. Very nice condition and classic Fender tone.
