2001 Fender '50's Stratocaster. Classic series. Made in Mexico. Daphne blue finish alder body, vintage spec. one piece maple neck with 'V' profile and tinted finish and the usual '50's strat appointments. Weighs in at 7 lbs. 12 oz. A few pick scuffs on the pickguard, else super clean, unmarked condition. This one upgraded to a set of custom wound hot authentic vintage spec. stag pole pickups with a RWRP middle for hum cancelling in the 2 and 4 positions, and pro re-wired with new CTS pots plus a pro set up. (Original pickups & pots in the gig bag pocket). These Classic Series '50's are really nice looking strats, but typically a let down in the tone department with the rather thin sounding and often noisy stock pickups. With the pickup upgrade this one now plays and sounds as good as it looks. A tasty stratocaster. Comes in the Fender gig bag with tremolo arm, (or add another $200 and get a brand new G&G tweed case). Get this really sharp looking tone machine, upgraded and fully sorted, and save a pile of money too.
